A dark elven broadsword is a type of weapon that appears in EvilHack. It is a one-handed weapon that uses the broadsword skill. It is made of adamantine, and appears as an etched broadsword when unidentified.
Generation
Drow characters start the game with knowledge of the dark elven broadsword.
Lolth is always generated with a dark elven broadsword that has the venom object property.
Drow sergeants have a 1⁄2 chance of generating with a dark elven broadsword, and drow lieutenants have a 3⁄4 chance of generating with a dark elven broadsword. Driders have an effective 1⁄9 chance of generating with a dark elven broadsword, and other non-undead drow have an effective 3⁄16 chance of generating with a dark elven broadsword, with the exception of drow mages and drow clerics.
A dark elven broadsword can be created at a forge by combining a dark elven dagger and a dark elven short sword while the forge is darkened.
