Casting this spell cures intrinsic blindness.
Strategy
As there are multiple methods to cure blindness, including the potion or extra healing that achieves this as a by-product, and with telepathy it may even become useful, the spell is rarely of much value, and a prime candidate for polypiling or blanking and overwriting.
