The '''blue slime''' is a monster added in [[UnNetHack]] and is only generated in the [[Sheol]] branch. It boasts the unique ability to encase whatever it attacks in ice for several turns, and does so passively as well.

==Strategy==
By the time you reach Sheol, blue slimes should not be a challenge on their own. However their ability to freeze you in place can be quite harmful if a more powerful monster is near, such as a [[crystal ice golem]]. They should thus be fought alone if possible to avoid being turned into a punching bag for other monsters.
