Reading a scroll of enchant armor while wearing the scales over a suit or armor will turn the suit into celestial dragon-scaled armor and discard any enchantment on the scales, with further effects dependent on the scroll's [[beatitude]]: a blessed scroll will bless the body armor and repair any [[erosion]], and a cursed scroll will curse the armor and lower its enchantment by 1. As celestial dragons are not a valid form for polymorph, reading a scroll of enchant armor while wearing the scales with no body armor will [[polymorph]] the [[hero]] into a [[blue dragon]], with the duration of the transformation dependent on the scroll's beatitude (being longer for a blessed scroll and shorter for a cursed one).
