<p>created stub.</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>The &#039;&#039;&#039;dash&#039;&#039;&#039;, or &#039;&#039;&#039;#dash&#039;&#039;&#039;, is an [[extended command]] in [[dNetHack]], [[notdNetHack]], and [[notnotdNetHack]] that allows for one free square of movement, and can also be accessed through {{kbd|Ctrl|n}}. When used, it toggles whether the [[hero]] is dashing, indicated in the [[status line]] by the &#039;&#039;&#039;&lt;code&gt;Dash&lt;/code&gt;&#039;&#039;&#039; status. Actions can still be performed as normal while dashing is toggled, and only when a movement action is taken does the dash come into effect, essentially granting a free move and resetting the dash status. After dashing, at least 1 turn must pass before it can be used again.
