* Set Konsole to use the UTF-8 encoding, in menu Settings -> Encoding -> Unicode ( utf8 ). Alternatively, run Konsole in a UTF-8 locale, then the Default encoding is also UTF-8.
* Pick a font with all needed characters, in menu Settings -> Font -> Select... . This screenshot uses font "Fixed [Misc]", size 10.
* Run <tt>luit -g2 'CP 437'</tt> to provide translation from code page 437 to UTF-8.
* Enable IBMgraphics (and optionally color) in NetHack.
