New page

The ''find'' command was introduced in [[FIQHack]], normally available through Ctrl+F. This command allows you to search for items and traps thorough the dungeon that you remember seeing on the floor or inside a container. When find locates objects, you can press the relevant letter given to see exactly where in the dungeon that the object/trap is located. This is useful if you don't remember where you stashed something, in case you accidentally dropped an item somewhere, lost the Amulet (but killed the Wizard of Yendor who stole it) or similar. It can also be helpful to find magic traps in case you are cancelled, or level teleporters as a means of non-consumable fast-travel, since level teleporters never disappear in FIQHack.
