So, I downloaded slash'em for the first time yesterday, on Windows. When I try to play with the default 16x16 tiles, every time I take any action random parts of the map flash black for a second. Needless to say, it's really distracting. Google shows threads on a handful of forums reporting this problem but I haven't found any solutions (try "slashem screen flashes" if you want to see what I mean). It doesn't happen with any other graphic set, but I've played so many hours of vanilla with this one that I'd really rather not change. Anyone know how to fix it, or at least what causes it?
