I'm totally blind, and I play NetHack with a screen reader. I can generally get a good grasp of what's happening, and have gotten below Medusa's Island twice ... so I must be doing something right! :-) However, I'd like to be able to access Sokoban, so I can get the extra wands, rings, food etc (I often seem to be short on wands, in particular). Due to my use of a screen reader, I need to follow the solutions precisely, by copying them into a text editor and mapping the line/column location of each boulder with its counterpart on the NetHack window (which I found relatively easy once I got used to it). I made my first serious attempt at the puzzle tonight ... I managed to get through [[Sokoban Level 1b|level 1b]] without any problems. I got through the first section of the solution of [[sokoban Level 2a|2a]] and the first four parts of the second section without any trouble, but I had a problem with the instruction "B ll". I couldn't find a way to move to the position where I could push boulder B to the left! If I follow the given solution, boulder C is one space above boulder B, and boulder F is located immediately to the right of boulder C ... and there seems to be no way to get to the position below boulder C. Am I doing something terribly wrong, or is there an error in the solution? Is boulder F supposed to be moved down rather than up, or is it something else? While attempting to fix it up, I messed up the level even more, so there's no way to go back to that particular game. [[User:Graham87|Graham87]] 15:25, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

	::Yeah, I'd forgotten to push boulder M, as I discovered on another play-through yesterday. However, I later mixed up my boulder letters in another part of that level, thus rendering it unwinnable ... oh well. 		+	:::If something gets goofed up, I'd just accept the luck penalty and destroy a boulder (or squeeze past one). I think a single sacrifice will clear any negative luck (and I always do Sokoban before trying to become extremely lucky). [[User:Derekt75\|Derekt75]] 21:16, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
