甜瓜是不错的小食，不过不要试图用它来驯服、安抚或喂食[[家畜]]，因为它只要被投掷出去就会摔烂。

甜瓜的字符颜色与[[美杜莎]]的[[尸体]]相同，如果不慎弄混，有可能造成{{cnlink|YASD}}。

甜瓜最初于[[Jay Fenlason's Hack]]的衍生作品Hack for PDP-11里出现，也是[[Hack 1.0]]中最初加入游戏的物品之一。
