[[食用首饰|食用]]传送控制戒指有{{frac|3}}赋予玩家[[内在]]的传送控制特质{{refsrc|src/eat.c|1959|version=NetHack 3.6.7}}。

将传送控制戒指[[扔]]进[[水槽]]会产生一条特殊消息{{refsrc|src/do.c|531|version=NetHack 3.6.7}}。

传送控制戒指是很实用的装备，若能够和[[传送症]]特质以及地层传送手段配合则更为强大。拥有传送控制戒指时玩家能够更安全地食用[[天狗]]的[[尸体]]，而不用担心传送症给自己带来麻烦，同时也有机会得到内在传送控制。在游戏中后期，利用传送控制和传送手段，玩家能够更轻松高效地探索[[葛汉诺姆]]。因此，拥有多余[[许愿]]机会的玩家有时会考虑用许愿获取传送控制戒指。
