==Generation==
Staves of healing make up {{frac|200}} (0.5%) of all weapons randomly generated on the ground, in general [[shop]]s or as [[death drop]]s. Used armor dealerships and antique weapons outlets can also stock staves of healing.

In EvilHack, a [[hero]] that is a [[Druid]], [[Healer/EvilHack|Healer]], [[Infidel]], [[Monk/EvilHack|Monk]], [[Priest/EvilHack|Priest]], or [[Wizard/EvilHack|Wizard]] may be given a staff of healing as a 'mundane' [[sacrifice gift]].

[[Wood golem]]s may drop staves of healing among the wooden items left behind as part of their special death drop [[Corpseless|in lieu of a]] [[corpse]].

==Description==
The staff of healing deals 1d6 damage to both small and large [[monster]]s. A hero wielding a staff of healing gains a flat 50% reduction in the [[spellcasting]] failure rate of [[healing spells]], which is applied after all other checks besides the check for [[metallic]] [[body armor]].
