	:They are never poisonous. Unless the spider corpse was old (it's possible from what you described; a new corpse can stack with an old corpse, giving them both the same age). Or perhaps you got sickness from some other source. 		+	::Sounds like a corpse that was verging on being old enough to cause food poisoning: poison gives "Ecch! That must have been poisonous", food poisoning gives "Ulch! That meant was tainted! You feel deathly sick.", but corpses in between being fresh and rotten give "You feel sick." and do a couple points of damage, which could kill someone low on hitpoints.
