	:MR is not the same as magic resistance. [[magic resistance]], e.g. from the cloak, GDSM, and several quest artifacts prevent all forms of polymorph. It's also all-or-nothing. I'd say MR is closer to MC in function, and both work as percents. 	:He's carrying the [[Orb of Detection]], which gives magic resistance. Your only chance now is to polymorph into a foocubus (or any monster with a theft attack; I think they have the highest base level however), steal the item from him, and place it into a container so he can't steal it back. Then polymorph into a genetic engineer, and you should be able to tame him. -- [[User:Qazmlpok\|Qazmlpok]] 00:28, 8 December 2010 (UTC)		:He's carrying the [[Orb of Detection]], which gives magic resistance.
