Cancelling or otherwise blanking a novel.

New page

The article states that a novel is considered a type of spellbook, but it does not explain the effects of cancelling or otherwise blanking a novel. I just tried cancelling a cursed novel using the wand of cancellation, and the BUC status does change, but it's still a novel. I'm still not sure what will happen after attempting other means of blanking, such as dipping the novel into a fountain. Please explain the effects of cancelling or blanking a novel.
