I just tried cancelling a cursed novel using the wand of cancellation, and the BUC status does change, but it's still a novel. I'm still not sure what will happen after attempting other means of blanking, such as dipping the novel into a fountain. Please explain the effects of cancelling or blanking a novel.<br />
