 I like to play with an Elven Ranger and when I start a new game I always #name my elven dagger Sting and it become an special artifact that can feel goblins, orcs and uruk-hais. {{unsigned|157.253.30.75|17 September 2006}}
 :That is a good way to play the early game if you are just starting out, but having Sting in play from the beginning does have its negative sde: It increases the number of [[artifact]]s in play, meaning you are less likely to be granted one as part of an [[Sacrifice|offering]] to your g-d, and lots of other considerations.
