-:As a new player to nethack, having it in the resistances conveyed section is very helpful.  If it was in the main article I would simply not read it, because I usually quickly check over the tables when I see a monster.  If the issue is semantics, maybe just another section for the table or a renaming?  resistances/buffs given ??

	I assume that 'stone' refers to their coloration, i.e. their skin texture resembles that of a boulder. In other games I've seen "stone x" also used to refer to critters that throw boulders, although that's true of all giants.
