	::Wait a minute. If he just level teleports, he can't leave the tower, normally. To level teleport, you just need a cursed scroll of teleportation. He had to be confused by something to leave the tower... and search for him in the entire game O_O . The upstairs part is normal, there is no upstairs at his normal location, so normally, this is never an issue. I didn't even know he could teleport, the article doesn't mention it either. For some reason the level 18 Vlad I encountered could a) level port via reading a scroll of teleportation (I didn't confuse him), and then b) teleport to the upstair when I finally found him. I have never seen that before. I've always been able to bash him to death with a piece of glass without him teleporting away.
