Forum:All sorts of emails not able to be confirmed with nethackwiki.com

I have tried all kinds of email addresses that I own, even those without full stops in the username, without dashes or underscores, but even a bog standard "email@company.com" is giving the error suggesting there is an invalid character in the email address. I have tried both with Pale Moon and IE9 and it gives the same errors. What is the cause of this problem?

No idea. It accepted my email just fine, but it not everything is well. It silently ignores my attempts to change my password. --Tjr 23:49, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

I've been having the same problem, and it's still unfixed. Is your browser blocking anything that might prevent the Wiki from contacting your email? Perhaps cookie blockages or something else? I've tried both on Pale Moon 6 and IE9 and it gives the same error. AFAIK IE does not block cookies very much. Pale Moon had nethackwiki.com on Allow for Session, but I have since tried on Allow all the time and I get the same error. So I'm pretty sure it's not a problem on my side. --StevenAus 08:29, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
