I am playing as a binder on dNAOHack. I have bound Eden, so I was using Purifying blast all of the time. However, one of the times I used it, a drayad interrupted me halfway through. The blast never went off, and I am still have 3 base AC. What happened?

I don't know that variant, but you could experiment with Wizard mode.--Quantum Immortal (talk) 21:05, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Oh, I talked to Jubilex about this on IRC: Eden modifies the player's intrinsic AC bonus to achieve the temporary AC reduction, and uses nomul to do the delay. The modification is supposed to be undone by the same function that creates the blast, which in turn is supposed to be called when the wait caused by nomul is over. However, it turns out that dryads can also cause lost turns via nomul, if they charm you into taking off armor. This second use of nomul overrides the first, preventing the blast from going off and preventing the AC bonus from being undone. I'm going to have to use a different technique to implement Eden's Purifying blast, I think.
