Forum:SVG support?

The old wiki could render an SVG, and a few articles (rnz is one) have SVG images. This wiki doesn't render them. Are SVGs b0rked, or is this just something that didn't carry over from the old wiki?--Ray Chason 17:16, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

The page File:Rnz100.svg seems to transclude Wikimedia content. I would guess it isn't being rendered because the template on rnz isn't made to expect such a situation. --Tjr 22:13, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
Look, an SVG image!
We do have SVG rendering enabled here and it works: for example, see the SVG version of the site logo here on the right. I'm not sure what's wrong with File:Rnz100.svg, but Firefox 9 also doesn't render it. I think the problem might be the missing xmlns attribute; I'll see if adding that might fix it. (Actually, I just tried it, and yes, that did the trick.) --Ilmari Karonen 12:42, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
Looks like the version of Inkscape that I used for that file (and two others; I see you've fixed them too) was b0rked. Ray Chason 23:44, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
