After playing Hack in college 25 years ago, I started playing Nethack on the Chrome Browser in January. Totally spoiled by this wiki, I ascended today with Samer, The level 27 Valkarie.

Samer found a WoW on lvl 2. First wish was for a Ring of Levitation while stuck on an island during the quest. Then, of course, the first giant killed dropped a spare.

Overall, the rest of the game was very kind allowing Samer to ascend with 2 WoWs (neither completely used) and 2 Amulets of Life Saving (obviously, never used).

Samer chatted with the priest before ascending and handed over all 65K in zm. Proper respects to the Wiki gods.

Hi Samer, Congrats on your ascension! I know what you mean about the =oL, it seems to amuse the RNG to toy with us in this sort of fashion... -- Elenmirie (talk) 09:08, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
