Large splint mail is a type of body armor that appears in EvilHack. Its default material is iron, and it can only be worn by a giant. It provides MC1 and a base AC bonus of 6, the same as standard splint mail.
Generation
Giant Samurai start with a rustproof large splint mail, and is the only instance in which a player giant can start with body armor.[1]
Large splint mail does not randomly generate, but can be wished for, and can be found in the [[bones of a [2]
Strategy
Large splint mail is the only form of body armor that giants can wear, outside of chromatic dragon scales from Tiamat. Other non-Monk giant players looking for extra AC and willing to carry the extra weight may consider a wish for one with an object property, though this is not strictly necessary since giants can perform well enough without body armor.
