Lifestealer is an artifact weapon that appears in SporkHack and EvilHack. Its base item is a two-handed sword, and it is chaotic for wishing purposes. Lifestealer is most often associated with Vlad the Impaler.
Generation
Vlad is guaranteed to be generated with the weapon when encountered at the top of his tower in Gehennom; if the item already exists in that game, however (e.g. in bones), it will be replaced with a regular two-handed sword.
Effects
As the name implies, Lifestealer will drain life and levels from monsters it hits, similar to Stormbringer; when wielded, it additionally confers drain resistance.
Strategy
Due to its method of generation, it does not count against the player in terms of wishing for other artifacts.
