A meat stick is a food created by zapping a spell of stone to flesh at a marble wand. It's not a particularly useful item. Here are some things that one can do with it.

• Use it as a treat for carnivorous pets
• Keep it in your open inventory so carnivorous pets will stay closer
• Use it to keep Elbereth active
• Mark the Vibrating Square with it
• Kill Vlad the Impaler with it
• Wield it for comedic value
• Eat it (possibly the most useless of all the listed uses)
