Mummified hands are not randomly generated, though they can be wished for or found in bones.
Description
While worn, a mummified hand confers 1 base AC. Regular mummified hands can be worn and removed safely: only The Hand of Vecna is made to replace your own hand if worn.
Strategy
Mummified hands are not particularly useful as a form of "gloves", and outside its use as the Hand of Vecna's base item it typically serves as a novelty.
