A pair of lenses is a tool that appears in NetHack. It is made of glass. The Eyes of the Overworld are an artifact pair of lenses.
Description
While worn, lenses protect your eyes from the raven's blinding attack and spat venom, but not from thrown cream pies or other sources of blindness. Wearing lenses improve your chances of finding something when searching, and also increases your chances of successfully reading a spellbook by 10% while reducing the time taken reading by 1/3.[1]
Lenses cannot be worn at the same time as a blindfold or a towel.
