The shield of light is a useful item in SporkHack, EvilHack, and Hack'EM. When unidentified, it appears as a shiny shield.
When worn, the shield provides 2 AC and acts as a light source, true to its name. It has the same light radius as gold dragon scales (based on its BUC status).

A shield of light can appear in any metallic material. Certain monsters, like angels, humanoid lords or princes, can spawn with a shield of light.
