A small piece of unrefined mithril is a type of stone that appears in UnNetHack. It is made of mineral rather than mithril, and appears as a silvery metal stone when unidentified.
Generation
Small pieces of unrefined mithril are not randomly generated.
2 to 16 small pieces of unrefined mithril are generated buried on the first level of the Ruins of Moria branch.
Strategy
The main significance of small pieces of unrefined mithril is to be sold: its base price is more than twice that of a dilithium crystal. It cannot be used to engrave, similar to a soft gem.
