Does anyone know what the cutoff is for "small" versus "large" monsters when it comes to weapon damage? My guess is that Medium and under are "small", and Large and above are "large", but it's not unambiguous (Dmg vs. small could be interpreted to mean just Small and Tiny). -Ion frigate 20:18, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

With 15 strength, basic in dagger, and a +0 Elven dagger, I was able to do 4 damage in one hit to a gray elf. The dagger does 1d3 to large and 1d5 to small, so unless I messed up the test, size medium is considered small. -- Qazmlpok 21:28, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
I just made a chart based on that observation and added it to the Weapon page, as well as this page here. Pretty sure you're correct (strength page does say that doesn't give a bonus). If anything's wrong, the Weapon page and my chart will need to be revised. Thanks for that comment, at that—I had no freakin' clue and was waiting until I found out to make it. Cloaks, Medium and Xorns

The page says medium monsters can wear cloaks. And the Xorn page says a xorn is medium, but as I just polyselfed into one my cloak and armor tore apart. One of these pages is probably not right. Which is it? -- Kynde (talk) 19:15, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

Medium humanoid monsters can wear cloaks. Xorns are not humanoid, and therefore cannot wear cloaks, bodyarmor, or shirts. -- Qazmlpok (talk) 19:24, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Right you are. The xorn (or many other monster pages) don't seem to explicitly mention if the monster in question is a humanoid or not. I wonder if there's a list of cloak and armor wearing monsters anywhere? -- Kynde (talk) 19:28, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
It should mention if they're humanoid, and just not say anything at all if they aren't. Aleax, for example: has a head, a couple of arms, and a torso. For a list of armor wearing creatures, you can kinda use User:Qazmlpok/monsterarmor. It was made for SLASH'EM, so there will be a bunch of monsters that don't exist in vanilla, but ctrl-f should work at least. -- Qazmlpok (talk) 19:54, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
