How do you make sure that a projectile is being used with the propper projectile weapon? Do you even have to tell the game (for instance) that you wish to use a crossbow to fire the crossbow bolts (when you actually HAVE a crossbow)? Slarty 17:37, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

You wield the launcher, then you press fire. Tjr 17:44, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

semantics

Do you mean that you must wield the launcher, or do you mena that you automatically will? If you do not(actively) wield the launcher are you just throwing the Quivered item(s)? I realise this is a stupid(ish) question, but I must be sure I understand.Slarty 20:31, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Press w, press l substituting the inventory letter of the launcher for l, press f, and finally press a directional key (h,y,k,u,l,j,b,.,<,>). This will fire ammunition compatible with the launcher l if the autoquiver option is set. Tjr 23:54, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
To answer the other question, if you are not wielding the appropriate launcher then you will only throw the projectile. I believe this does 1d2 damage and does not train the skill. -- Qazmlpok 00:03, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
It would be nice if throwing projectiles without wielding a launcher gave you a warning like "You begin bashing monsters with your crossbow" -- something like "You hurl a crossbow bolt." But many things that are nice do
not happen. --Slandor 01:08, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
