Each group of powers is a skill that can be advanced to Grand Master. As the skill level is increased, new applications of the power become available (For example, an unskilled Psion can throw the top item of an indicated stack using Telekinesis. A Psion with basic skill in Telekinesis can also take the top item from an indicated stack).


Telekinesis

  • Throw Item
    • Unskilled: Throw top item of stack
    • Expert: Throw multiple items from stack
  • Summon Item
    • Basic: Take top item from stack
    • Master: Take any item from stack
  • Lock/Unlock
    • Expert
  • Telekinetic Blast
    • Expert->Grand Master: Increase damage and range
  • Recall thrown item
    • Master
  • Throw Monster
    • Master: Throw medium or smaller monster
    • Grand Master: Throw Large or larger monster

Telepathy

  • Id insinuation
    • Unskilled: stun
    • Expert: confusion
    • Grand Master: insanity
  • Fear
    • Unskilled->Grand Master: increase level limit and duration
  • Mind Blast
    • Expert->Grand Master: damage and confusion
  • Charm
    • Basic: others of your species
    • Expert: other humanoids
    • Master: monsters
  • Sleep
    • Basic->Master: increase level limit and duration
  • Bringer of Conflict
    • Master: Toggle conflict

Divination

  • Detect Food
    • Unskilled: Only when hungery
    • Basic
  • Detect Treasure
    • Basic->Master: Increase range
  • Detect Monsters
    • Basic->Master: Increase range
  • Precognition
    • Basic->Grand Master: Increase duration, AC bonus, and Magic cancelation
  • Clarevoyance
    • Master: centered on you
    • Grand Master: centered in range

Psychometabolism

  • Jumping
    • Basic->Master: Increase range
  • Haste
    • Expert: Self
    • Master: Other
  • Slow
    • Expert
  • Slow Digestion
    • Put off hunger for (then burn at accerated rate for up to 100 turns to catch up):
    • Unskilled: 100 turns
    • Basic: 200 turns
    • Expert: 500 turns
    • Master: 1000 turns
    • Grand Master: 2000 turns
  • Invisibility
    • Master: Invisible
  • Levitation
    • Master
  • Finger of Death
    • Grand Master

Psychostasis

  • Homeostasis
    • Basic: One intrinsic resistance
    • Expert: Two intrinsic resistances
    • Master: Three intrinsic resistances
    • Grand Master: Four intrinsic resistances
  • Hydroequilibrium
    • Expert: Walk on Water
  • Time Stop
    • Grand Master (overuse draws attention of the time Keter)
