Not sure about what you're doing...

It looks like you're making edits that do not apply to standard or "vanilla" NetHack. Perhaps you are talking about SlashEM, or SporkHack, or some other variant of the game? If so, you should mark your edits accordingly. I'm pretty sure there's no "deep freeze" or "wand of healing" in vanilla.

I'd be grateful if you could clean up your changes as necessary. Welcome to the wiki. --Ckbryant 21:26, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Again...

I don't want to sound hostile or unappreciative of your contributions, but you are making edits in a way that someone else has to come along behind you and fix everything you do. This is bordering on bad behavior. I really hope you'll consider the following:

1. Please create a user ID. It takes about thirty seconds.

2. Use the "summary" field to describe your changes.

3. Since you are writing about SLASH'EM specifics, you need to say so in the articles. If you create an article about something that only exists in SLASH'EM, the article should mention this. If you add SLASH'EM information to an article about something that exists in Vanilla, you need to put it in its own section, per the style guide for this wiki:

"If a thing's behavior is slightly different in SLASH'EM, put the differences in a ==SLASH'EM== section. If a thing is totally different, or exists only in SLASH'EM, give it its own article."

SLASH'EM info is perfectly allowable in this wiki, but the default for every article is Vanilla NetHack. --Ckbryant 11:38, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
