I've had two issues with the game which may or may not be bugs.

The inventory system is a tad odd. I get mutiple items that are marked #. This impacts game play because it makes selecting the item you want to use difficult i.e. if your weapon and wand are both marked # and you want to wield you sword you may end up wielding your wand instead.

I manage to summon Jubilex twice in the same game so there are two peaceful Jubliex on the same level in my current game.

That being said I am having a great time playing this variant. Thank You for writing it 16:20, 16 September 2014 (UTC)ndwolfwood Ndwolfwood 16:21, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for your interest in the variant! The # symbol is there because you picked up more than 52 items in your main inventory; this would be impossible in vanilla. Since there are only 26 letters in the alphabet and they can only be uppercase or lowercase, the game then runs out of letters and assigns everything after that to #. My advice is to store some items in a container if you have one, then use the #adjust command to change the remaining # symbols to letters. Yes, I'm aware of the fact that it's annoying but the main use of this new feature is that if you have some blessed scrolls of identify, you can take out all those nine pages worth of crap from your container and hope for a full-inventory identification. ;) It also makes BUC-testing your stuff on an altar easier since you can drop everything at once (the . button marks all items in the "What do you want to drop/pick up/take out/put in/(etc.)" prompt).
Weird, there should only be one peaceful Jubilex possible per game... However, there are two different versions of Jubilex in this variant, one of them is spelled "Juiblex" and the other one is spelled "Jubilex"; their attack patterns are a bit different. Only Juiblex is guaranteed to appear while Jubilex is a bonus boss who can only be created by summoning a demon. Maybe you actually summoned both of them? --Bluescreenofdeath (talk) 05:52, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
