the NetHack-article edit...

I removed the image you added to the NetHack article; AFAICS, it doesn't serve any purpose there. Besides, it could be done without any image as n@T.hAcK --paxed 16:25, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

Problems with "corpse safe to eat"

You have been adding "corpse safe to eat" messages to many monster pages. I see several problems with that:

  • False expectations: If people see safe to eat on enough pages, they will start assuming everything else isn't. That is a bad thing until you really go through absolutely all monster and food pages on a fast schedule.
  • It's not always true: choking, monks and alignment (especially pacifists), food conduct adherers, old-ish corpses, and planning ahead for that dragon corpse.
  • Clutter: If we want that level of detail, what else has equal right to go in? Worn armor and hit points? Typical rounds of combat until the monster is dead? Things not to mix the monster up with? This monster makes a bad pet? 0.45% of all random spawns are this monster, and you have to wait expected 16667 turns to meet one? Watch out, it will help itself to your stash if it can?
  • The monster template would be a better place to put properties every monster has.

I suggest you either address these issues somehow or remove the edits. Tjr 01:57, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

Alright then, I'll discontinue adding those. Sorry if I caused any trouble. Also, on the template for the monsters, I believe there should be an "Etibility" section where you put whether it's vegan, safe to eat and what not.- - DemonSlayerThe3 :: The Neutral Gnomish Wizard, with my kitten Ellinis! 23:57, September 16, 2010 (UTC)
That's an excellent idea. User:Paxed did the template programming, and User:Qazmlpok extracted the data. You might want to contact them. I suggest continuing the discussion at Template_talk:Monster#Corpse_hazards_should_go_in_template. Tjr 13:51, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

Vandalism Cleanup

You asked me on User_talk:Tjr#My_Page... who vandalized your user page. I'm not quite sure if you want me to clean it up. But as you seem to be permanently away, cleanup seems most appropriate. Contact any admin if you want the evidence back: they are deleted edits on User:DemonSlayerThe3rd/vandalized. --Tjr 15:44, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Image licenses

Hi, DemonSlayerThe3rd. Would you mind slapping a license tag on File:DemonSlayerThe3 the Evoker.png and File:Death by Boredom.png? As modified NetHack screenshots, I suppose they should {{NGPL}}, but I'd prefer if you could tag them so yourself. Thanks, and sorry to bother you with such details. --Ilmari Karonen 15:38, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and File:NetHack.png too. (Or you can just put {{delete}} on it if you don't want to keep it.) --Ilmari Karonen 16:21, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Um, I'm still kind of new to this type of stuff, how do I do that?--DemonSlayerThe3rd 19:13, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
