Autocursing

Certain nasty items will curse themselves, so exercise caution even if an item does not appear to be cursed. Some items that autocurse are:

• Loadstones (appearance: gray stone) will curse themselves upon being picked up, and cursed loadstones cannot be dropped
• Helms of opposite alignment (appearance is random) will curse themselves upon being worn
• Dunce caps (appearance: conical hat) will curse themselves upon being worn
