The Chaos quest is one of the alignment quests available in dNetHack. Unlike the Chaotic Quest of SLASH'EM and dNetHack's other alignment quests, there are three possible variants, each of which are referred to informally by number.
Chaos Temple Quest
The Temple of Chaos (informally "chaos1") is the first variant of the Chaos Quest.
Mithardir Quest
Mithardir is the second variant of the Chaos Quest, themed after the Forgotten Realms setting of Dungeons & Dragons.
Mordor Ruins Quest
The Ruins of Mordor acts as the third variant of the Chaos Quest, deriving from a setting within J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.
