Critical strike is a technique that appears in SLASH'EM, SlashTHEM and Hack'EM.

All Rogues start the game with knowledge of this technique.

Description

When activated, you are prompted to select a direction, and will perform a single powerful attack against a visible target in that adjacent square. The damage dealt is equal to (monhp/2) + techlevel, or (monhp/4) + techlevel if the monster is not humanoid. The technique is reusable after 500-1000 turns.
