Daggers are one of the most popular weapons for any adventurer. They are cheap, plentiful, and do not disappear, unlike arrows, crossbow bolts, and darts.
There are several kinds of daggers: orcish daggers, elven daggers, silver daggers, and "normal" daggers. The most popular form is the elven dagger, which does more damage than most other daggers and does not rust. In addition, Sting can be acquired by #naming an elven dagger as such. Silver daggers are extremely rare.
