Dragonbane is an artifact that appears in EvilHack. It is unaligned, and its base item is a pair of gloves made of dragonhide.
Generation
In addition to random generation, Dragonbane can be given as a sacrifice gift to any character, though it will never be the first artifact given.
Description
While worn, Dragonbane confers reflection and acid resistance, and warns of dragons. Any dragons that see the character wearing Dragonbane will turn hostile if they were not already hostile - this does not include dragon-like monsters in the same monster class, such as the fell beast or any of the growth stages of pseudodragon.
