There are two types of gnomes:
- Gnome (starting race)
- Gnome (monster)
- There are also mummy gnomes and zombie gnomes.
In addition, GNOME is a desktop environment and development platform on Linux or Unix systems. There is a graphical version of NetHack that runs under GNOME.
