This is a list of monsters whose appearance (i.e., combination of glyph and color) is non-unique. Variants may use different monster colors or allow you to change them (for example, using the MONSTERCOLOR option in UnNetHack and on nethack.alt.org).

It was originally stored in a pastebin, but it might be more useful on the wiki.

Many of the @ and @ are quest leaders/nemeses; as there will only be one of each per game, the list will be somewhat shorter when considering just one individual game. Monsters in italics are unlikely to appear in a given game: quest leaders, quest guardians, non-guaranteed unique monsters, or monsters which are otherwise very rarely seen.
