Orcish boots are a type of non-magical boots that appear in EvilHack and Hack'EM. They are orcish-made versions of the iron shoes from NetHack, which are called "dwarvish boots" in those variants. Orcish boots have a base object material of iron, and appear as crude boots when unidentified.
Generation
Uruk-hai and goblin-captains have a 1⁄3 chance of being generated with orcish boots; orc-captains have a 1⁄2 chance of being generated with Uruk-hai armor, giving them an effective 1⁄6 chance of generating with the boots.
Orcish boots can be created at a forge by combining an orcish short sword and gauntlets.
Description
When worn, orcish boots grant 1 base AC before enchantment and object material adjustments, along with a bonus point of AC for orc player characters and other orcs that wear them.
Orcish boots can be combined with an orcish helm at a forge to create an orcish shield.
