The Plane of Earth is the first of the Elemental Planes. Most of the level is filled with solid rock, with some few open spaces scattered here and there. You will start the level at the bottom-right, and the portal to the next plane is somewhere in the left side of the level.
This is also the place where Wizard of Yendor will make his only mandatory reappearance. There is also an Elvenking carrying a pick-axe and a Minotaur with a wand of digging nearby. There are also several Earth elementals, Stone golems, Rock trolls and such.
