A shirt is the innermost piece of an adventurer's armor. Tourists will start out with a hawaiian shirt, and t-shirts with humourous messages may be found in the dungeons; there is no difference between them in practice. If a shopkeeper can see the shirt (IE, there is no body armor or cloak over it) he will charge an extra 1/3 markup and buy things for 1/3 of the base price.
