The number of potions you can use is limited by the number you can find and carry. The spell however is weightless and unlimited, this makes it much more useful. Since the spell is non-combat it is usable even with a fairly high failure rate. Allows you to learn the detect treasure spell. This spell has the same effect as a potion of object detection.[1] It is the special spell for rogues.
