Cost: Cloak of Displacement vs Elven Cloak

For elven Rangers, the substitution of an Elven Cloak for the usual Cloak of Displacement is stated to be a downgrade. But an Elven Cloak costs more? --Actual-nh (talk) 04:23, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Yes. So why would it cost more? (I am partially looking at odd cost differences due to possible use of cost in what items appear where.) --Actual-nh (talk) 13:47, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
Monetary cost does not always directly translate to item effectiveness, which is also a very situational quality for a significant amount of the game. Also, the source code cited for elven replacement items outright says as much. --Umbire the Phantom (talk) 05:17, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
