:You can summon Juiblex as peaceful, and not have to deal with him later (or as hostile, if you're not chaotic, and fight him on a level where you can pray); but Juiblex is the easiest named demon to kill, if you know his Achilles' heel. Once both Yeenoghu and Juiblex have been summoned, later summonings get a random demon, which might sometimes be a foocubus. This takes a lot of patience to really do well. The bottom line is, unless you're chaotic and going for foocubi, you probably don't want to sacrifice your own race.--Ray Chason 14:14, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

As a chaotic character, I sacrificed one of my own race (elf), and summond the demon lord Yeenoghu. The result was a peaceful demon lord, teleporting next to me every few steps, just getting underfoot. Not very lordly behavior. I finally had to escourt him off the level, just to keep him out of my hair.

What is the reason/value in summoning a demon?— Preceding unsigned comment added by AngleWyrm (talkcontribs)

You can summon Juiblex as peaceful, and not have to deal with him later (or as hostile, if you're not chaotic, and fight him on a level where you can pray); but Juiblex is the easiest named demon to kill, if you know his Achilles' heel.
