Haste self is almost useless to its affiliated role: by the time they might be able to cast it, most barbarians will likely already have speed boots
What makes that true? ie, what makes speed boots more likely to be obtained than the spellbook of haste self? Usually I find +'s easier to find that speed boots (esp. if I get +'s from praying) 5thSetPin (talk) 23:10, 16 February 2014 (UTC)
- I would assume the problem is the spell failure chance that is the problem, rather than obtaining the book. Since the spell isn't permanent and has a fairly short duration, they will also want to be able to cast it without having to remove all their armor.
