- Yes, you became permanently invisible. You can override this with a mummy wrapping for wraith luring or getting into or out of shops.--Ray Chason 21:13, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

If you zap it at yourself, you become permanently invisible, unless you are wearing a mummy wrapping. this suggests that if you're wearing a wrapping and zap yourself nothing happens at all. which, afaicr, is not the case. you gain the invisibility intrinsic but remain visible because of the wrapping. is there a funny message? --194.116.198.179 11:36, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
